We recently got feedback from a happy customer who purchased the GAIA I’s for his B&W speakers.
I have owned my B&W 802 Diamonds for six years and never heard what they were capable of until I installed the IsoAcoustics GAIA 1 isolators. My speakers sit on a hardwood floor. I had the factory installed casters and they sat on the Combak Harmonic SF-200 receptacles.
After installing the GAIA 1s and allowing my VTL S-400 Reference Amp to warm up, I sat in my listening chair to audition these beautifully machined IsoAcoustic Isolators. I played some of my favorite reference recordings through my Ed Meitner DAC, and my jaw dropped. They sounded like different speakers. The sound stage opened up, but mostly the instruments seem to float in the air with improved detail and sounded more 3-D. The black box speakers completely disappeared. If I were B&W I’d license these from Isoacoustics and include them with every pair.
One of the best investments I’ve made in a long time. As we know, the return on investment for Audiophile tweaks is typically very small, but this Tweak gave back big time. I am truly happy.
