VPI Industries is a manufacturer of renowned Made in the USA turntables. Harry Weisfeld (Founder of VPI Industries) and Mat Weisfeld (President VPI Industries) heard our A/B demo at the Munich High End Show this year and invited us to take part in an event-weekend at The VPI House in NJ to run our demo, listen to music and enjoy lots of food and drinks.
On the outside, the VPI house looks similar to other homes in the area. On the inside, the VPI house is filled with high end audio speakers and components and is perfectly setup to host events for audio enthusiasts, training sessions for dealers or can be a just a great place for music enthusiasts to enjoy listening to music. The house includes comfortable listening rooms that are properly treated to provide a wonderful listening experience.
With 5 listening rooms in the house there was room for lots of variety. The main room featured our IsoAcoustics GAIA A/B demo in the main room using Focal Sopra N2, Merrill Wettasinghe’s beautiful Merrill Audio Element 118 400W Class D amplifiers, and the VPI HW-40 turntable to commemorate VPI’s 40th year. Another room had the Focal Kanta 2’s with the Naim Uniti Nova integrated amplifier while other rooms had the Paradigm Persona 7F, Gershman Acoustics, KEF Blade and Raidho D5.1 loudspeakers…. all on IsoAcoustics GAIA isolators.
Merrill Wettasinghe described using the latest Gallium Nitride technology in the Merrill Audio amplifiers and why all their products are shipped with IsoAcoustics GAIA isolators (footers). The new IsoAcoustics DELOS butcher blocks were used under the VPI turntables in every room. This includes the beautiful VPI Prime in Rosewood and Rose Gold finish. We cant wait to see this with our DELOS Walnut (Coming soon).
We all enjoyed Harry’s insights and stories, and Mat Weisfeld’s limitless energy. It was a wonderful gathering of knowledgeable and enthusiastic music lovers and an amazing variety of music. The VPI House is a wonderful meeting place with events throughout the month, a dealer training center and a great collection of equipment and music.
